Summer Newsletter
Hi there and hope your summer is a fun one,
We usually meet the 3rd Tuesday of every month, from September to May, at the Plymouth Public Library from 7-8:30 pm. However, sometimes we cannot meet those dates.
The third Tuesday in September is Yom Kippur, so we can’t meet then. Our first meeting, a September meeting, will be on a Wednesday night, because that’s when the meeting room at the Plymouth Public Library is available.
Our meeting in November will be on a Saturday because the speaker, Ellen Perkins, gives her technology workshops only on weekends. A Saturday meeting also gives those who don’t drive at night a chance to attend a day-time meeting.
We planned the following tentative schedule for the 2018-19 year:
Date | Topic | Speaker |
Wednesday, September 26, 2018 | All About Cochlear Implants | Ann-Marie Hennessey, Audiologist |
Saturday, November 10, 2018 | Learn About the Latest Technology | Ellen Perchins, Technology Specialist |
Tuesday, January 15, 2019 | Psychology of Hearing Loss | Michael Harvey, Ph.D. Psychologist |
Tuesday, March 19, 2019 | Emergency Prepardness | To Be Determined |
Tuesday, May 21, 2019 | Reach Out: Helping Yourself and Others | Peggy Ellertsen and Barbara Aberini |
Here’s some information for those interested:
